Fabio Serrao
Fabio "Jungle Boy" Serrao
Owner & head instructor · 5th degree black belt
Fabio is a pro MMA fighter and a 5th degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Master Vanderlan Almeida and Grand Master Osvaldo Alves, one of the few red belts in the world. He came up in Brazil's Amazon state, and the nickname came with him.
His students talk about the same things: he takes as long as you need on a technique, he actively watches sparring, and the gym he built feels like family.

Fabio is the kind of coach that takes as much time as you need to teach you a technique. He also makes sure to actively observe sparring for everyone and to give people specific, helpful feedback on how to improve.
I have met some of my closest, lifelong friends on these mats. Fabio is the best of the best, and an incredible coach, mentor and friend to all of us.
Fabio is legit. Been coming here for 7 years. Can't recommend it highly enough.
I have been actively involved in martial arts for 30 years, and it has been my good fortune to have trained with some of the best martial artists in the world. I know what high quality martial arts looks like. I also do not recommend a school lightly.
